CEVA signed a record twelve new licensing agreements in the first quarter of 2015. Its customers shipped more than 233 million CEVA-powered chips during the quarter, including more than 60 million smartphones, driving year-over-year royalty revenue growth for the first time in more than three years. Gideon Wertheizer, Chief Executive Officer of CEVA, credits this royalty growth to an increase in shipments of LTE smartphones powered by CEVA DSPs for the fifth quarter in succession.
